Congregational Meeting

A Congregational meeting is set for Sunday, January 6 at the conclusion of both 8:30 and 11:00 services for the purpose of hearing a recommendation from the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee to call Mary Sellers Shaw as Associate Pastor.
 
As you know, we called Mary Sellers here prior to her ordination as Director of Mission and Outreach with the expectation that when she finished her process for ordination, we would move forward with this process to call her as Associate Pastor. Mary Sellers has been examined by the Committee on Ministry of the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee and that examination was sustained. We are now cleared to meet as a congregation to vote on her call here, as is required by the Book of Order of the PCUSA. 
 
Please plan to be present on January 6 for this exciting day for all of us.

ADVENT: Here Comes the King

We celebrated the beginning of Advent with multigenerational stations on December 2. Thanks to our Children’s Christian Education Committee for organizing this event. Come to Wilson Hall each Sunday of Advent and you can join the Advent coloring at the tables. Our next multigeneration event will be the Birthday Party for Jesus on December 23 at 9:45 a.m.
