Since taking office in 2021, he has focused on institutional rediscovery, diversity, equity, and balancing academic excellence with practical leadership. An ordained Baptist minister with extensive pastoral and administrative experience, Dr. Lee holds degrees from Hampton University, Wesley Theological Seminary, and Virginia Theological Seminary. He resides in Pittsburgh with his wife, Rev. Chenda Innis Lee, and their four daughters.

We are honored to welcome Dr. Lee as our guest preacher this Sunday. Please join us for worship as he shares the morning message.

World Communion Offering

On World Communion Sunday, celebrated each year on the first Sunday of October, Christians around the world gather around the Lord’s Table to celebrate the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. As we share this sacrament with Christians everywhere, we are also reminded of our call to reconciliation—one of the central purposes of the World Communion Offering.

The World Communion Offering supports ministries that work for racial justice, gender justice, peacemaking, global witness, and ecumenical and interfaith relationships. This year, the offering also supports the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s commitment to helping end gun violence.

Congregations are encouraged to take action in their own communities through efforts such as promoting secure gun storage and participating in Guns to Gardens, a community-based movement that safely receives unwanted firearms and dismantles and repurposes them into garden tools, art, and jewelry.

One hundred percent of the World Communion Offering is used to support this initiative

and other PC(USA) reconciliation efforts. Your gift helps turn our celebration of communion into action that builds peace, justice, and reconciliation in our communities and around the world.

If you would like to learn more about the World Communion Offering, please feel free to speak with Mission Committee member, Ann Upchurch, after Sunday’s services

Wednesday Night Adult Bible Study:

"Called to Community"

Join us for our first 6-week session featuring a dynamic, video-based curriculum! Each week, we will watch short videos together from various leading theologians and share open discussions about how the material connects to our lives. As we explore the theme of being "Strangers in a Strange Land," this series helps us examine the role of the Church in a contemporary society where we are at once more connected and more disconnected than ever before.

  • Preparation: None needed! Show up just as you are.
  • Resources: Want to dive deeper? You can download the discussion guide and read the introduction to the sessions in the curriculum PDF at this link.

Come ready to engage, connect, and grow together! Click here to Join virtually.

Special Thank you From Susan Knights:

Thank you, from Susan Knights, for all the prayers for my sister, Linda, as she made the move from Rapid City, SD to Boise. Many of you have kept her in prayer over the last few months and your kindness and care is very much appreciated. The deed is accomplished! Both Linda and her husband, Ken, who has severe physical limitations, made the trip in two days and arrived one day after their moving van. When things settle into a pattern for Linda and she gets respite care arranged, she will be able to attend services.

Last Sunday's Sermon:
