Good Afternoon Members of First Presbyterian Church
While we are still working on the details of how some of our ministry will happen as we are not physically gathering we did want to let you all know of a few things that will be going on.
- Church Staff will be cutting back on the amount of time we are in the office, but are still available. Please reach out by phone or email if you need anything or simply want to connect with any of us.
- You can reach any of us by calling the church office (864-877-3612) We have the ability to either forward calls to our cell phones or check messages remotely. We will be checking messages often and responding.
- There will be someone in the Church Office to answer the phones and open the doors Monday through Wednesday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- We are still working on the exact details, but worship will be available on Sunday morning in a video format.
- We will be posting to social media often with resources, prayers, music, and other items that we hope will be uplifting and useful during this trying time. Make sure that you are following us on Facebook and Instagram if you are able. Click the Facebook or Instagram icons at the bottom of this email to access our accounts.
- Staff directly responsible for the areas of music, youth, children, missions, bible study, etc. will be in touch with details and plans as appropriate.
- We want to encourage our church family to remain connected however possible. We encourage you to:
- Make phone calls
- Connect virtually (Facetime, Google Hangouts, some meetings may happen using Zoom, etc.)
- Write notes
- Pick up blank copies of the postcards pictured below from the mailbox by Door B at the church and mail them to members of your Sunday School class, the folks who normally sit next to you in worship, anyone you think might like to color or receive a card colored by a child.
