A Note from the Pastor

Help us to give a warm FPCR welcome our new Office Administrator, Marilyn Newberry! Marilyn started on Monday and is already off to a great start.

Marilyn's email address is marilyn@fpcrichardson.org and you can reach her by phone at (972) 235-2316 ext. 221. Marilyn grew up in Plano and comes to us already having a wealth of experience as a Parrish Administrator in an Episcopal congregation, both in-person and remotely. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University. Marilyn will also be taking on the communications components of ministry at FPCR.

We will install new ruling elders this Sunday! Mike Haun, Robin Smith, and Elizabeth Bross were elected by the congregation in January. They have recently completed their ruling elder training and were examined by the Session last month. We will also be thanking our outgoing class of ruling elders: Katie Haun Black, Shirley Latham, and Kathy Rice.

Come and join us as we celebrate Eastertide!

Pastor David
Remember: by attending worship or other events in-person at FPCR, you are agreeing to a covenant of care which includes self-screening for COVID symptoms before choosing to attend in-person activities. Masks are optional but recommended. We have members that are continuing to wear masks, due to health concerns or out of care for others. Please respect the decisions and personal space of others as you attend FPCR.
Large Print Hymnals
We have recently acquired several new hymnals that contain enlarged print. These are text-only versions of our regular Glory to God Hymnals (purple pew editions). You may find these in the Narthex on Sunday mornings. Make a joyful noise!
