Is your box beginning to overflow with items you can give up and get out for teachers to use???
How about the office area this week?? As some of us are downsizing from two home offices to a smaller area to pay bills and write notes, we don't need 4 staplers, all those scissors, and the binder clips, paperclips and rubberbands that have been multiplying in the drawers. Post-it notes, boxes of staples (my boxes of staples are way out of proportion to the number of staplers I have, how does that happen??), desk organizers, tape and clipboards. Something another friend suggested: the free address labels you receive in the mail. If you've got way more than you need, clip off your name and put those cute little stickers in an envelope. A teacher would always love to have extra stickers to reward a student on a paper which they did well! The file drawers may have extra pendaflex, folders, copy paper, and envelopes of all sizes.
You may even have a crate or two that you don't need and can gather the items together.
