Hello First Presbyterian Church,

In honor of St. Patrick's day this week, I wanted to share a prayer with you from John Phillip Newell, a Celtic teacher and writer, entitled "Presence":

"In the gift of this new day,
in the gift of the present moment,
in the gift of time and eternity intertwined,
let us be grateful,
let us be attentive,
let us be open to what has never happened before,
in the gift of this new day,
in the gift of the present moment,
in the gift of time and eternity intertwined"

How are you sensing the Spirit's presence with you this day?

Peace,

Pastor Rosy

The Sanctuary Choir's Offertory last Sunday was a contemporary setting by Gwyneth Walker of E. E. Cummings' beloved poem, I Thank You God for Most this Amazing Day.

The singers did a wonderful job on a very challenging piece. I'm so very proud of their gracious music ministry each and every week. Click on the link and have a listen. - Ralph

Join the RTE PTA today!

The FPC Mission Ministry is committed to supporting our neighborhood elementary school – Richardson Terrace Elementary (RTE). As such, FPCR is a member of the RTE PTA at the Community Sponsor level. We also invite and encourage FPCR members to show neighborhood support by joining RTE PTA at the individual level. You need not be an RTE parent to join! Your $10 individual membership fee will benefit EVERY child at RTE because the PTA helps with needs that are outside the scope of the school’s budget, contributing to many school activities and programs. Also, as a PTA member you can receive the weekly PTA newsletter, to learn about what’s happening at Terrace and other ways to help or volunteer.
