Dec 23, 2020

This Christmas promises to be unlike any we have ever experienced. Even so, we have found meaningful ways to celebrate and worship. I hope that you will join us for one of the special worship services on Christmas Eve. We have partnered with Saint Barnabas Presbyterian Church to produce a Family Christmas Eve Service that will premier at 5pm this Thursday, Christmas Eve.

Our traditional Christmas Eve Service will premier at 8pm that night. It will include communion and candlelight, so I encourage you to collect your communion elements (bread and grape juice or wine) prior to the service. At the end, we will light candles and sing - and we hope that you will join us, from your home. Just imagine all of the members of our congregation that will be doing the same. It will be a holy night, even if we can only gather virtually.

Both services will be available on our Facebook and YouTube pages.

In behalf of the Session and Staff, I wish you a very Merry Christmas!

FAMILY CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE

FPCR and St. Barnabas will be joining together for an interactive Family Christmas Eve Service. Coloring sheets have been sent to the children in our congregation. These should be colored before the service begins. Even if you don't have children you are welcome to join in!  Email [email protected] if you would like to receive the coloring sheets.

FPCR CHRISTMAS LIGHT
DRIVE-BY

We invite you to drive by the church one evening between now and Christmas (or have someone drive you!) to enjoy our Christmas lights. Many have volunteered their time to add lights galore all around FPCR's LaSalle street entrance and the back parking lot. It is our hope that you will be proud of our facilities and that this can be our gift to our neighborhood.

Our prayers of sympathy and support go out the Cunniberti family at the passing of Betty on Dec 12.
