The church has power.
Phones and internet are still out.
The church facilities have fared fairly well, although we have some minor HVAC and plumbing concerns.
We had 2 families take refuge at the church last night. One family will be staying tonight.
We have many members and staff that are dealing with power outages, plumbing issues, etc.
The Session meeting has been postponed until 2/28.
Tomorrow's food drive will take place as planned - details below.

HAVE YOU BEEN VACCINATED?
We are trying to gauge the number of members who have received the vaccine so that we can plan accordingly. We will be sharing that data with our task force and session, as well as with the congregation. Please be patient as we take the next steps. Most of our staff and members have not been vaccinated. Please email Lisa if you would like to share that you have received the vaccine.

RECORDING FOR GOOD FRIDAY
TENEBRAE SERVICE
We are looking for 15 different voices to read pieces of the Good Friday Tenebrae Service. This will be used for our digital service on Friday, April 2. We will record readers in the sanctuary in 15-minute increments on Saturday, March 6. COVID-19 safety protocols will be followed closely. All ages are invited to sign up for a time to record a reading. The readings can be found by clicking here. (Note: some readings are longer than others).  SUPPORT FAIR TRADE
Valentines through Father's Day is the biggest chocolate buying season of the year. It is well known in the chocolate industry that forced child labor, and starvation wages are part of the supply chain, and yet year after year nothing changes. Therefore, this year let us join the effort to make changes in the system by buying chocolate from Fair Trade farmers, and companies that pay fair wages and do not rely on child labor.
