Feb 10, 2021

This Saturday, we hope you will swing by the Church (between 10:00 and noon) and pick up your Lent Kit. It has lots of goodies for navigating the season of Lent (the 40 days between Ash Wednesday and Easter).

On Sunday, immediately after worship, we will have a Second-Sunday Lunch & Learn over Zoom. I invite you to join in the conversation as we have an informal discussion about how we might use the 2020 surplus, new ministries that we might want to explore, and the use of designated funds. Here is the Zoom link:  Meeting ID: 883 0444 3559

I hope that you will join us for our virtual Fat Tuesday Pancake Supper. The Zoom  link to register is found below, in the "Week at a Glance" section.

Next Wednesday, is Ash Wednesday and we will broadcast worship on both Facebook and YouTube at 7:00 pm.

Through our contributions to One Great Hour of Sharing we are a part of this amazing work of spreading God's love to people in need in the U.S. and around the world.
SUPPORT FAIR TRADE

Valentines through Father's Day is the biggest chocolate buying season of the year. It is well known in the chocolate industry that forced child labor, and starvation wages are part of the supply chain, and yet year after year nothing changes.  Therefore, this year let us join the effort to make changes in the system by buying chocolate from Fair Trade farmers,  and companies that pay fair wages and do not rely on child labor.
