District Receives Bond Upgrade
Fairview Park City School District's bond rating recently received a rating upgrade from an Aa3 to an Aa2.

"The progress the district has made since 2006 has enabled us to achieve this increase," said FPCS Treasurer Ryan Ghizzoni. "This is happening at the same time when six major US banks are receiving a credit rating decrease and most entities are trying to hold onto their ratings."

 District App
2012 App LogoThe Fairview Park City School District [FPCS] has launched an app for iPhone and Android users.

Through the free FPCS app, users will find: news, photos, videos, social media, contact information, calendars and agendas.

FairviewAppScreenIn addition, the district will be able to provide push notifications to users as another source of immediate communication for high-important issues happening in the district (i.e. school closings and emergencies).

"This application would not be available today if it wasn't for the student insight and involvement," said FPCS Communications Director Elizabeth Haas.

Thanks to Fairview High School [FHS] students in Chris Kaminski's Graphic Arts class, this app is available to the Fairview Park community to utilize. FHS student Kelly Chambers helped gather content and design the layout of the application, while Dan Roman and Jason Kish collaborated to create the application logo.

To download our free app, please visit your iPhone or Android application store and search for Fairview Park Schools or download the Mobile Website to your mobile device.
