May 2021 - Updates from the Forever Parks Foundation
Hello Friends of the Forever Parks Foundation,

Thank you again to everyone who came out to support the Plant the Seeds Spring Social in unveiling our playground designs. We are so appreciative of all the love and support and momentum - lots more exciting news and events to share below!

Pearland's first all inclusive playground - update!
We've seen great momentum since we revealed the designs for the all inclusive playground at the May 1st Spring Social. Thank you again to everyone who came out to support this wonderful event. Photographs from the event taken by Crystal Marsh Photography are still available for viewing and purchase through May 31st so check them out today! To see video of the event captured by Tejas Imagery & Media Services, including the moving remarks by Mayor Kevin Cole, click here.

The Houston Chronicle came out to cover the event which has given us even wider coverage for support throughout the region - read more here.

Thank you to everyone who has generously donated during the month of May. We appreciate you and your generosity will make a huge impact on our community! Donors since May 1 include:
  • Jessica and Jeff Gardner
  • Robert R. Gardner
  • Sam Long
  • Joelene and Sean McKenzie
  • Geoff, Tracy and Mila Nykin

You can track how we are working towards our goal here - we keep it updated as the donations come in. If you, your family, or your business would be interested in donating, please access our sponsorship packet here. A Wall of Recognition will be installed at the walkway to the playground and for only $500 you can be recognized permanently on site!
Donate without Spending
Please join our Give Without Spending Campaign where your opinions earn $$$ for Forever Parks Foundation. Text GIVE2021 to 31996 to sign up. You will receive a confirmation text and a link to register. Follow the link and click the Get Involved button to set up your profile and get started. We earn $2 for every survey you complete up to 75 surveys per individual. So far we have 84 participants that have earned a total of $3,500 in just 14 days just by completing product opinion surveys.

We still have until June 1st to to reach our campaign max of $15,000. Each person that completes 75 surveys will be entered into a drawing to have two chances to win a $100 gift card to Academy Sports and Outdoors (donated by Board Member Richard Vaughan). Special Thanks to Pearland Rotary Club, Pearland Parks Board, and AYLUS for sharing with your membership!!!
