September 2021 - Updates from the Forever Parks Foundation
Hello Friends of the Forever Parks Foundation,

We hope that this email finds everyone healthy and safe after enduring Hurricane Nicholas. We know it impacted many families in the neighborhood, but hopefully you are recovering well and able to enjoy some of the cooler weather that has come behind it.

Pearland's first all inclusive playground - fundraising update!
As of today, we are now ninety four percent complete in reaching our fundraising target. We are thrilled to announce that we have received several significant donations from local organizations and businesses including $10,000 each from HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland and the Rotary Club of Pearland. We've also received $5,000 each from the Pearland Police Officer's Association and Dow Chemical Company. Thank you to all of these organizations for stepping up to support this major project to support our community!

We now need just $60,000 to achieve our goal. We are aiming to close this gap by September so we can break ground on the playground in January 2022 without incurring any cost increases due to the demand on construction materials. We know that Pearland can help support this - for a $500 sponsorship your business or family can be permanently recognized on the Wall of Recognition at the entrance to the playground. Donate today! Thank you to everyone who has already generously donated during the month of September. We appreciate you and your generosity will make a huge impact on our community! Donors since August 21 include:

  • HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland (Champion Level)
  • Rotary Club of Pearland (Champion Level)
  • Dow Chemical Company (Partner Level)
  • Pearland Police Officer's Association (Partner Level)
  • Dennis and Cathy Seith (Supporter Level)
  • Edward and Lisa Albrecht (Supporter Level)
