How often have you heard someone say, "I've never even HEARD of peripheral neuropathy?" How many doctors have you encountered that knew little about the disease? How many times have others misjudged you because of symptoms they observed in you but didn't understand were associated with your peripheral neuropathy?
What if telling your story of neuropathy, touched one other person and helped them to better understand what their loved one was going through? What if your story made just one doctor better understand his patient? What if your story inspired someone else to tell theirs?
That's the Foundation for Peripheral Neuropathy's goal for this upcoming #GivingTuesday on November 29, 2016 - to have you share your stories and increase awareness of peripheral neuropathy so that we may help all who suffer from the disease live better. On #GivingTuesday we want to build awareness and GIVE HOPE.
