In addition, FPS will be publishing a special edition of the Forest Products Journal in conjunction with the online event. FPS will also virtually present the prestigious FPS 2020 Annual Excellence Awards.

To make the most of your virtual experience, FPS is reissuing a call for papers so that additional presenters have the opportunity to submit both abstracts and posters. New to the FPS IC this year are pre-organized technical sessions. The goal of these sessions is to bring together critical masses of FPS Virtual IC attendees with expertise and interest in specific topics.

Forest Products Journal (FPJ)
is the world’s most complete and prestigious source of high-quality peer-reviewed technical research reflecting the current state of wood science and technology. Scope includes highest quality peer-reviewed technical research papers at the applied or practical level that reflect the current state of wood science and technology. A special International Conference edition will be published late in 2020.

The FPS Virtual International Convention will be a premier event for professionals in the forest products industry including scientists, design professionals, managers, decision makers, and others from academia, government, nonprofits, and industry sectors to discuss the state of forest products research and learn about innovations in the field. Students in wood science are encouraged to attend.
The FPS Virtual IC is dedicated to encouraging and facilitating the development and application of technical knowledge that will enable humanity to derive maximum benefit from renewable wood-based materials and forest products.
