Important Utility Rebate Program Updates for 2017
 
Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) and Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) have recently released important updates for their 2017 Residential Rebate programs for pool pumps.  Click the links below to read important information regarding updates to these programs. 


Registration Now Open for Fishing with FPSIE

Registration for the second annual Fishing with FPSIE fishing derby event has officially opened. Fishing with FPSIE is Northern California's largest pool industry camping event and fishing tournament. The event, which is hosted in Collin's Lake, California, will be held March 24th through March 26th, 2017. Fishing with FPSIE focuses on family, fishing, food and fun and includes Bass and Trout fishing contests. Register today to join in on the fun!

This is the time of the year for taking a breath, reflecting on the year's achievements, and starting anew by planning for the year ahead. So as I write this I am taking that deep breath and reflecting on the many detailed aspects of the day to day operations and all that goes into the business of operating an education foundation such as FPSIE.

Mission Statement
 
The Foundation for Pool and Spa Industry Education (FPSIE) was established in 2006 to advance scholarships and professionalism within the workforce of the pool and spa industry and its future leaders.  FPSIE, is dedicated to raising the standards of unbiased knowledge for all trades involved in residential and commercial swimming pools, and hot tubs with respect to design, functionality, safety, and energy efficiency.  FPSIE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Sacramento, California, and achieves its mission by establishing an educational outlet to train, motivate, validate, and educate through an accredited curriculum of courses and testing.
