USDA and HHS virtual convening, Sustainable Livelihoods and Behavioral Health: Strategies and Partnerships to address Farm Stress and Suicide (May 17th-19th, 1pm-5pm EST)

Throughout the past several years, the farm economy has faced tremendous challenges, even prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. Commodity prices have been low, markets and supply chains have been disrupted, and it is more and more challenging to ensure that farming is a sustainable livelihood. While mental health is a struggle many Americans face, there is a significant number of rural Americans working through tough mental health situations. This includes women, minority groups, veterans, and most of all, farmers and ranchers. Registration and additional event materials can be found here.
