The FRC Roundup
November 2021
All New Staff Highlights
We are taking the time to highlight our staff on social media! We are thankful for the work they do everyday to strengthen families! The lives of so many children and parents would not be the same without their arduous work.

Please watch Shemika Robert's video to learn more about her and the work she does for the FRC here. Shemika is our Parent Aide Supervisor.
Mission Statement

We provide transformative in-home education and support services to Floyd County families, empowering them to create safe, stable and nurturing homes so that their children can grow and thrive.

You read that right...the Exchange Club Family Resource Center is 30 years old!

Thirty years ago, we opened a small one room office on the grounds of the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds. We had one employee, a few volunteer Parent Aides, and a lot of determination!

Thirty years later, we have a staff of seven and have helped over 4,000 families and more than 6,000 children! We have been able to do this because of your support and encouragement. Thank you for helping us make a difference to so many!
Thanks to all who signed up to sponsor families for Christmas this year. Because of your support, 21 families (that include 52 children) will wake up to a bright and fun Christmas morning. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list in case of an urgent need, please contact [email protected]

5 Ways to Share the Christmas Spirit While Helping the FRC

It's easy to share a little Christmas joy with others while also helping the FRC!

1) Shop Local and support small businesses and restaurants in our community. Many of them already support the FRC so let's support them!

2) Visit Do Good or Living & Giving on Broad Street to purchase the FRC's first ever Christmas cards. A bundle of 12 cards contains 4 original works of art created by children enrolled in our program ($20).

3) Stop by the FRC to purchase a gift of poetry from our 2nd Annual Poetry Contest ($8)

4) If you must shop Amazon, please do so through Amazon Smile and designate the Exchange Club Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse of Rome, GA as your charity.

5) Make a gift in honor of a loved one. We'll be glad to prepare a gift card that you can personalize and wrap! Visit our website or call us at 706-290-0764 to get started!
