Q: What happens during outdoor programming?
A: Our staff bring toys that are suitable for outdoor play out onto the lawn. These include small toddler slides, hockey & soccer nets, vehicles, sidewalk chalk, books, etc. They are sanitized after each use and there are labelled containers for toys to be sanitized after children have played with them. Screening for each person is required on arrival, hands must be cleaned and participants are required to be socially distanced from people who are not in their family or caregiving group.
Q. Will masks be required?
A. EarlyON Operating Guidelines from Toronto Public Health require masks for people over 2 years who don't engage in physical distancing.
Q. Where are when will updates be provided?
A. Updates will be provided in this newslettter every Sunday and on our Facebook page.
Q. Will washrooms and diaper changing facilities be available?
A. Yes.
Outdoor Visits! Free Books! This Week!

We still have registrations available for FREE BOOKS and outdoor visits at Kimbourne, for Monday at 9:30. 9:45, 10:00, 10:15, 10:45 and 11:00! These will be assigned to the first families who email us by 8 am Monday to grab them! Lots of time slots are also available for Tuesday 29th, Friday 2nd, Saturday 3rd. We're excited to see all of you again!

In case you hadn't heard, these are short, scheduled, physically distanced visits with families on the lawn at Kimbourne from 9:30 to 11:30 am! We're scheduling about 8 families each hour, so email us to tell us which days and times you'd like to come and watch for a confirmation. Ideally, choose two days to help us with scheduling.. We have books available for infants and kiddos up to 7 years old, including some French books! THANK YOU, Children's Book Bank! Our staff have lovingly prepared small bags of playdough for each child as well!

We've reduced the hours for Virtual Drop-in. The Programming Schedule shows everything going on this week!
July 1st: Every Child Matters Walk
East End Children's Centre acknowledges the historical and ongoing impacts of colonization on communities and families. We are mourning the thousands of lives lost and holding space for Indigenous people across the country, living in our city, and attending and working in EarlyON programs.

Here, we share some links that we hope will help families and communities move forward in the processes Reconciliation and Healing.

How Did I Get on This Mailing List?
If you're receiving this weekly newsletter by email, it's because you either subscribed, registered for one of our Zoom events or more likely you wrote your email address on our EECC EarlyON registration card. It's implied consent, in that case. Two things we want you to know:
1) We ALWAYS keep your contact information private. We will never sell, trade or share your email address or any other information about you/your family, with anyone.
2) If you wish to unsubscribe (link at the bottom of the email), nobody's feelings will be hurt! We want this to be a newsletter parents and caregivers enjoy, but if it feels like "one more thing" in your inbox, we're OK with you unsubscribing. There will always be a link on our Facebook page if you'd prefer to find it there.
