Good luck to all of our local students who are taking final exams at Coastal Alabama Community College this week!

Monday, April 28, 2025, is an official state holiday in Alabama known as Confederate Memorial Day. To find out more about what this holiday means for Fairhope, Let's Go! Fairhope inquired with a few local offices:

City of Fairhope = Open

Baldwin County Commission = Open

PNC Bank = Open

(State Offices = Likely Closed*)

We were not able to reach a representative at the U.S. Social Security Office located at 101 Courthouse Drive, however a representative at the Baldwin County Commission office responded: "We are open, but state offices are closed." If anyone has additional information, feel free to reply. Thank you.

"Dr. Music Records presents Rufus McBlack and Grave Chorus live at Johnny Mac's. Rufus McBlack is the band that kicked off our music venue and this will be their third time to grace our stage. RIYL: proggy metal with psychedelic expanses with Minutemen style jazziness with excellent choruses with pummeling bombast... Grave Chorus will mix it up with their amalgam of analog synths, drum machines and heavy bass. Think southern gothy darkwave."

"The show starts at 7pm and costs $10, a pittance. Johnny Mac's is a premier live music venue located at 505 Fairhope Ave in Fairhope. This is an 18 and up show unless you wanna bring your parent/guardian."
