We are ridiculously excited to introduce you our new skin analysis camera! It means we can now provide you with a very detailed, computerized skin analysis.
Our staff has been eyeing this state-of-the-art technology for a long time now and anxiously awaiting the release of the latest version. This new skin analysis allows us to give you the most advanced skin health recommendations. It is a part of our commitment to giving you the most educated, efficacious, and medically-sound skincare and anti-aging recommendations possible.
It looks like a big “Space Helmet” and it takes super-high-resolution images of your skin. Using a camera that captures not only what is visible on your skin, but what lies beneath the surface as well, it gives you the most accurate picture of your overall skin health.
The skin analysis gives you a grade on your skin compared to thousands of other people of the same age and gender. You get a score on each of six qualities: Wrinkles, Skin Color, Sebum, Pores, Acne, Spots, blackheads, Dark Circles, Pigment and Collagen Fiber.
It also has an aging/anti-aging simulator function that can show you how your skin might look if you do nothing at all or if you proactively treat your skin.
If you don’t like what you see there, then you might be even more committed than ever to avoid the damaging sun, use great skincare and get regular anti-aging treatments!
We recommend that you put your face in the “Space Helmut” for analysis at least 2 times a year to check on your skin condition. Of course, we are super excited to share this technology with every patient.
When you come in for your personal skin analysis, it is critical that you come make-up and sunscreen free. Makeup and sunscreen diffuse the accuracy of the photos. The photo takes just a moment and one of our highly trained medical staff will review the report with you. This report helps us make your most detailed treatment plan. We will also make skincare recommendations – as 90% of your skin’s health depends on what you are doing to treat it.
