Family Open Gym this Thursday

Children ages 1-4 may enjoy use of the gym from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., January 5 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center. The gym will be full of balls, mats, small basketball hoops, soccer goals and more. Cost is $5/$10 for residents/non-residents. Parents are free. This is a drop-in program. Registration is NOT required.

80s Bingo Night

Enjoy a fun-filled night of 80's music, costumes and BINGO 5 to 6:30 p.m., January 12 at the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center! Dress to impress our judges in an 80's themed costume contest with prizes awarded for first, second and third. Snacks and beverages are provided. Please register each participant. Cost is $7/$9 for residents/non-residents.

Adult Open Gym

Beginning January 16, the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center will be offering adult open gym in the evenings. Price is $7/$12 resident/non-resident. Open gym membership for the year is $95. 

Schedule:

Mondays, 7:30-9PM, Adult Volleyball

Wednesdays, 5-8PM, Adult Pickleball

Thursdays, 7:30-9PM, Adult Basketball

Fun Runs

Registration for the 2023 Fun Runs is now open! These runs are for all ages and are approximately one mile long. The trio consists of: 

• Bunny Hop, April 2, 2023
• Spooky Sprint, October 21, 2023
• You Can't Catch Me, November 25, 2023

Each race is $25 with participants receiving a free T-shirt and goodie bag. Sign up for all three races and save $15!!!

Indoor Track

Did you know the Prairie Activity & Recreation Center features an indoor elevated track for walkers and runners? The track overlooks the Prairie Fit Fitness Center and the gymnasium with outside windows to Gregory B. Bott Park. The track is ideal for when the weather is not.
