87-YEAR-OLD KOREAN WAR VETERAN GRADUATES HIGH SCHOOL- A Korean War veteran who dropped out of high school during his junior year in 1952 to join the U.S. Air Force and became a pilot during the war has finally received his high school diploma at age 87.

10-YEAR-OLD SELLING LEMONADE TO HELP HOMELESS VETERANS IN NEED- Annaliese Miller raised over $2,500 on Fourth of July weekend by selling lemonade and cookies with all profits going toward "blessing bags" for heroes in need.

MARINE CORPS MARATHON CANCELED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ITS 45-YEAR EXISTENCE- “If it ain’t raining, we ain’t training,” is how the old military adage goes, boasting that troops can weather any storm. But it wasn’t rain or snow or a hurricane that caused the first cancellation of the Marine Corps Marathon in its 45-year history ― it was the coronavirus.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE CAN BLOCK VETERANS FROM GETTING MENTAL HEALTH HELP, RESEARCHERS WARN- Post-9/11 veterans battling substance abuse issues struggle to receive help for mental health challenges, which can lead to a troubling cycle of both problems worsening, according to  new research released on Wednesday.
