Districts Get Deep Dive On Title IX
Over 50 district and school administrators from eight NEFEC districts recently attended an extensive Title IX training at the Bradford County School Board office.
The one-day session focused on Title IX team roles and responsibilities; knowing when Title IX applies; and understanding the investigation, decision-making, and appeal processes for a Title IX complaint.
With new K-12 regulations going into effect in 2020, school districts continue to work diligently to ensure appropriate staff receive the required training to support the Title IX process.

Learning Walks Across Districts Initiative
The Learning Walks Across Districts Initiative originated in response to a request made by the NEFEC Board of Directors' Leadership Development Steering Committee to promote and enhance the instructional leadership skills of school-based administrators.
Superintendents, school administrators, and instructional coaches walk through classrooms side by side with other district teams to collaborate and problem solve. Participating districts use a focused observation protocol to provide feedback to the hosting district and develop an action plan around an area of focus.
Several of the learning walks are captured in the pictures below. Additionally, Bradford County hosted a pilot walk on January 26-27 and Lafayette County School District hosted Dixie County and Hamilton County on February 22, 2022.

Baker County School District hosted Suwannee County and Union County
on February 15, 2022.
Nassau County School District hosted Flagler County on March 1, 2022.
Flagler County School District hosted Putnam County and FSDB on March 8, 2022.
