During the summer of 2020, the NEFEC Instructional Team provided weekly virtual mini-professional learning sessions to teachers across the state and covered a wide variety of instructional tech tools and applications. The objectives of these sessions were to:
- Demonstrate introductory knowledge, skills, and understanding of concepts related to technology in the blended learning environment;
- Use technology resources to engage in ongoing professional development; and
- Use appropriate technology to construct, implement, support, and/or monitor instructional materials, assignments, assessments, and programs.
Beginning in October, NEFEC began facilitating weekly, voluntary after-school sessions to continue providing professional learning to support teachers implementing new classroom technology. The sessions begin at 3:00p.m. every Tuesday and end no later than 5:00p.m.
