The annual Foundation for Rural Education Excellence (FREE) golf scramble teed off last week at Palatka Golf Course. This year marked a special milestone as we proudly renamed the scramble in honor of Mr. Tim Starling - former Baker County Superintendent and one of NEFEC’s early board members. This inaugural event in his name made the day especially meaningful as we honored his legacy and lasting impact on our region.
This year’s event was a tremendous success, helping continue FREE's mission of supporting academic excellence across northeast Florida’s rural school districts.
