At this time of the year, it's important to take some time to reflect on our families, friends, and colleagues. We are so thankful for each of you. All of you care about our students and work hard to make education excellence attainable for them. We hope that your holidays are filled with laughter, love, and some rest.

FREE and NEFEC also wish you a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year. We plan to begin 2024 with fresh engagement and renewed energy for our foundation, districts, and most importantly our students. Thanks for being a catalyst for making that happen!

Putnam Choral Group Entertains Board

Thank you to the Crescent City Jr./Sr. High School Chorus from the Putnam County School District for joining the December NEFEC Board of Directors meeting. Their performance was wonderful and a great way to kick off the December meeting.

Mental Health, School Safety, and Resiliency Leaders Share Best Practices

On Tuesday, December 12, Resiliency Steering Committee members, Mental Health Coordinators, and School Safety Specialists came together to learn from one another around topics including collaborations with local education foundations, school safety updates, and district resiliency initiatives.

This team of leaders had great conversations and shared some incredible things happening in their districts. It is always a pleasure when this group comes together.
