New School Social Work Network Meets

NEFEC hosted a new School Social Work Network recently with school social workers from rural districts meeting to connect, share insights, and collaborate as professionals in rural education. NEFEC is grateful for the dedication and impact of the social work teams!

AI in Education Fair Hosted By UF & PK

NEFEC and member districts recently participated in and presented at the inaugural AI in Education Fair hosted by the University of Florida's College of Education.

This dynamic event connected educators, researchers, and leaders to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming PreK–12 education, from classroom innovations to big-picture policy and research opportunities. The final day included an interactive showcase of AI-enhanced teaching and learning at P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School.
