Hurricane Relief Efforts In Full Swing

Through the Resiliency Initiative, NEFEC departments came together to support students and schools impacted by the recent hurricanes. Over 1,500 backpacks full of essential items are starting to end up in the hands of students in need. Staff are delivering the backpacks to Columbia, Dixie, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, and Suwannee counties, helping ensure students are equipped to remain resilient and move forward through rebuilding.

Secondary School Counselor Forum

It was an incredible day of professional learning at NEFEC's Annual Secondary School Counselor Forum earlier this month. Counselors received key updates from FDOE, heard the latest on college entrance exams, explored how to implement a McKinney-Vento Senior Packet, and so much more.

Inaugural School Leaders Network

To celebrate, NEFEC facilitated the inaugural School Leaders Network this month. Thirty administrators from districts throughout the NEFEC region joined us to engage in collaborative learning, share best practices, and enhance their leadership skills. We are excited to continue supporting our school leaders as they champion success in their schools.
