Cabarrus Brewing Co. Announces Free Summer Concert Series

CBC presents "Groovez in the Garten" 🤩 🎶 this summer. The beer garden stage will host a lineup of 4 amazing shows, and it's all FREE! 🤩

The concert series is a great way to spend a summer evening with friends and family. The brewery is pet-friendly, so you can even bring your furry friends along to enjoy the fun. And with the concerts starting at 7pm, it’s the perfect way to unwind after a long week at work.

• The first “Groovez in the Garten” concert is coming up fast on June 23 and it's the perfect way to kick off CBC's Summer Fest weekend! Enjoy the music and the festival atmosphere and take part in the other events happening at CBC during the weekend, like the Summer Fest vendor fair on Saturday!

🚜 The Barn Is Coming Back to Frank Liske Park!

The centerpiece of Frank Liske Park, affectionately known as "The Barn," holds a special place in the hearts of Cabarrus County park-goers.

Originally a dairy barn utilized by students at the Stonewall Jackson Training School, it has undergone a remarkable transformation.

It has witnessed countless joyous occasions throughout the years. Picnics, reunions, weddings, showers, and business meetings have all found a home within its welcoming walls. Unfortunately, tragedy struck on March 26, 2020—the day The Barn succumbed to a devastating fire. Countless calls and emails flooded in, each sharing stories of heartfelt memories from families who gathered there year after year to celebrate important milestones.

• Knowing this was an important piece of Cabarrus County, officials decided to rebuild The Barn. Construction of the new Barn started in the Fall of 2022.

Historic movie theatre offers throw back prices this summer!

Summer is just around the corner, and the Gem Theatre has announced $2 Summer Matinees.
