How To Register For Classes |

- CLICK the registration button below to login into or create an account with MINDBODY.
- Select the class(es) you would like to join.
- After registering for your class on MINDBODY, you will receive a ZOOM link to the scheduled class. If you don't receive an email, text Dawn at 718-689-2441 with your name and the date/time of the class you registered for. Please be sure they aren't being filtered to your spam folder!
- To login to the class, open the email and click on the ZOOM meeting link on the designated date/time of your registered class.
- Please sign up for a free ZOOM account at Zoom.us prior to class. You may also download the ZOOM app directly to your smart phone, tablet, or computer.

Dawn is a 500 hour Certified Baptiste Yoga Leader and a Fit to Lead graduate with the Baptiste Institute. Dawn is also a Life Coach, Community Change Maker, and Leadership Consultant. Dawn started practicing yoga after experiencing panic attacks post 9/11. In 2011, after ten years of studying with various teachers in NYC, she discovered Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga and became a teacher. Dawn has 23+ years of corporate leadership experience. She is the founder of NYC Yoga Project, a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to use the Baptiste methodology to provide access of yoga, meditation and inquiry to cause global leaders.Her leadership goal is to be a vehicle for the most underserved humans to live their full potential and transform the world.

Leslie is Certified Baptiste Yoga Leader and a 200 hour RYT. Leslie leads a Meditation Program, 40 Days to a Personal Revolution Program and is an Apprenticeship Program Facilitator at Firefly Yoga studio. Leslie has created two youth programs where she leads children's’ yoga groups. Leslie is a retired New York City first responder and has been practicing yoga for over seventeen years. Leslie lost the ability to walk in 2003, had emergency surgery and an experienced an extremely long recovery period. Leslie credits Baptiste Yoga for saving her mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health. Through the power of asana (physical), meditation and self inquiry, Leslie has been able to affect her own life and wants to share the practice with others.

Alyx is a Tier 2 Baptiste Educator, located in the agricultural heart of California, the Central Valley. She's taught many classes at Warrior Yoga in Turlock, CA, is a mama to the most joyful toddler, and owns a small business crafting cakes, baked goods, microbatch jams, and fluid art. She brings joy, connection, and fire to all of her yoga practices and she cannot wait to meet you on your mat!

Ashley is a NASM certified personal trainer. She developed an interest in training through her experience as a collegiate basketball player. Her coaching revolves around the idea that we must love ourselves first before we can change. She believes strength training not only develops the body, but greatly challenges the mind. It prepares us for whatever life may throw at us. In bettering ourselves it ripples out to all areas of our lives and makes the world that much better. Ashley is currently studying to become a Registered Dietician Nutritionist to help people fully cultivate a life of health and wellness.

Patrice obtained her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate through NYC Yoga Project’s Teacher Training program. She has also been trained in Ayurvedic Nutrition and is currently studying to become a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor. Patrice believes that Yoga and its sister science - Ayurveda - can be used to restore health and balance to both the mind and body through transformative routines that are accessible to everyone.

Margie is a 500 hour Certified Baptiste Teacher, from northern Indiana. She uses meditation during isolation to go deep into inquiry and achieve calm during uncertainty of the current times. Margie believes we are in a particularly opportune time to focus on inner reflection and to reboot our lives and minds. Meditation can facilitate this shift simply, by using focus on the breathe and observing the manner of our thoughts. Meditation can teach us how to live in the present moment, discover our full potential, a new edge of possibility for our lives and the entire world.

Sara Page’s yoga journey started 4 years ago when she took her first Baptiste training with Karen Terrone at 5 Boro Power Yoga, Staten Island. It was there that Sara Page fell in love with the Baptiste methodology and community. She continued her Baptiste training at Levels 1,2 and 3 where she earned her 500 RYT. She is currently enrolled in Fit to Lead, the highest level of training that the Baptiste Institute offers. Sara Page believes that service is what connects us and is so happy and grateful to be teaching at NYC Yoga Project.

Amy is a 200 hour certified Baptiste power yoga instructor. She completed her certification with Grace & Glory Yoga Studio Teacher Leader Development Program & Mentorship program and is an apprentice working towards her 500 hour training at Grace and Glory Yoga in Philadelphia. She is also an instructor for Roots 2 Rise, a non-profit that makes yoga accessible to everyonAmy is the Director of Mindfulness & Yoga for Mighty Writers, a non-profit in Philadelphia that offers free writing programs for all children and youth. She loves to workout, write poetry, read, meet and connect with new people, go on spontaneous adventures, attend concerts and spend time with her daughter, Audrey.

Denia has 10 years of community development experience as a motivational speaker, career counselor, and community advocate. She obtained her yoga certification to assist communities of color, and anyone who has dealt with depression, trauma or anxiety, feel empowered. She obtained her 200 hour RYT from Lyons's Den Power yoga and uses the Baptiste Methodology to encourage her students to explore their bodies through asanas and meditation. Denia creates beginner to intermediate classes for students in English and Spanish. Denia also teaches at Commonpoint Queens community center and works with Commonpoint Queens Health and Wellness committee to lead monthly mediation sessions for the company's staff members.
