FREE taxi rides home in SF for parents and guardians!
Have you ever needed to leave work in the middle of the day to pick up your sick child from school?

With school back in session, San Francisco Environment Department’s Emergency Ride Home (ERH) program provides a free taxi ride for parents/guardians who commute to work in San Francisco by walking, biking, scootering, public transportation, or carpool/vanpool. Beyond school-related emergencies, the ERH program also covers any personal emergencies (such as illness, crisis, or unexpected overtime).

You can get reimbursed up to $150 for the entire ride, up to 4 times per year!

To dispose of used cooking oil and grease, wipe cooled oil with a paper towel and place in the compost bin, reuse it after straining out food particles, or drop it off at Recology's Household Hazardous Waste Facility.
