Season of Giving Campaign Update!

For the last few weeks, a lot of our energy and effort has been going into our Season of Giving campaign to raise the funds we need to enter into the next phase of development. On Thursday, November 21st we celebrated Give to the Max Day by launching a limited time match and blowing our goal of raising $10,000 out of the water! So much so that two more donors stepped up to provide a $4,000 mini-match for the following day. We raised over $28,000 from just these two days alone!

Our next giving holiday is this Tuesday - the international GivingTuesday on December 3rd. This time, our goal is to gain 50 new donors! As an opposite to the overly consumerist Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, GivingTuesday is the perfect time to give the gift of supporting a movement dedicated to building a local food network that feeds our families, supports our farmers, and strengthens our community!

If you've already contributed - thank you! Please help spread the word about our campaign to just 5 other people, owners or future owners! Through word of mouth, a quick email, text, or a phone call, you can make a real impact by sharing why you support Free Range Food Co-op!

By the numbers - out of our 96 total donors so far, 84 are FRFC owners. That means about 7% of our owners have already donated and we only need 150 more of our 1,189 owners to reach the average co-op fundraiser owner participation rate of 20%! If you cannot make a financial contribution, consider volunteering your time & talents!

We can't begin to thank our local community enough for their support for this campaign, and for the future of the co-op. Maybe you saw the article written in the Herald Review a few weeks ago? If not, click the button below to read it!

While we are working to build our store, we are also building relationships with local farmers who will become future suppliers of fresh, local produce to stock at our co-op.
