Friday Prayer
As we close this week I want to share a prayer from another intercessor, Mandy Ruiz. Have a blessed weekend.
Father, In the mighty name of Jesus, I lift up every apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher You have called and appointed. Thank You that You are the One who gives gifts to Your Church, and no assignment is accidental. Lord, awaken them afresh to the call You placed on their lives before the foundation of the world. Let every dormant gift come alive, every holy fire be rekindled, and every assignment delayed be released in Your perfect timing.
Raise up apostles who establish Your Kingdom with wisdom, humility, and courage. Let them build according to Your blueprint and not the patterns of man. Give them discernment to lay strong foundations that cannot be shaken. Raise up prophets with clean hands and pure hearts. May they hear Your voice with clarity, speak only what You are saying, and never be influenced by fear, pride, or the opinions of people. Let their words bring conviction, hope, healing, and restoration. May they expose darkness while always revealing the light of Christ. Empower evangelists with supernatural boldness. Open doors that no one can shut. Let signs of Your goodness follow the preaching of the Gospel, and draw multitudes into repentance and salvation. Give them compassion that reflects the heart of Jesus for the lost.
Strengthen pastors who faithfully shepherd Your people. Pour fresh oil upon those who are weary. Heal the wounds they carry from serving others. Restore their joy, protect their families, and give them grace to lead with both truth and love. Let them shepherd with the heart of the Good Shepherd.
Anoint teachers with revelation and understanding. Let them rightly divide the Word of Truth. Give them insight that transforms lives, not merely information that fills minds. Let Your Word become living and active through them. Guard them from deception. Give them discernment to recognize false doctrine, counterfeit spirits, and distractions that seek to pull them from their assignment. Surround them with faithful, wise, and godly counsel. Release unity among the fivefold ministries. Let apostles honor pastors, prophets encourage evangelists, teachers strengthen apostles, and every gift serve together as one Body under the headship of Christ. Lord, breathe fresh wind upon Your Church. Raise up fearless leaders who will stand for righteousness regardless of the cost. Give them holy boldness to proclaim truth with both conviction and compassion. May they remain rooted in intimacy with You!! Let secret devotion become the source of public power!!
I declare that chains are breaking, vision is being restored, weary hands are being strengthened, and hearts are being renewed. What the enemy intended to silence, You are raising up with greater authority. What has been hidden in preparation is coming forth in obedience and humility for Your glory. Let the Church be equipped, the saints be matured, the broken be healed, the lost be found, and Jesus Christ be exalted!!! In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen!!!
