ENTERING GOD’S THRONEROOM

Psalm 100 is a good psalm to memorize. It says, “1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. 2 Serve the LORD (Jehovah) with gladness. Come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that (Jehovah) he is God (Elohim). It is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves. We are His people, and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. 5 For the LORD is good. His mercy is everlasting. And His truth endureth to all generations.”

This psalm gives the key to the most rewarding and intimate communication (prayer) with Him. Most Christians have never learned this. They recite written or learned prayers, or they simply begin to pray by asking requests (petitions) of God.

Psalm 91:1 speaks of “dwelling in the secret place of the Most High.” It is a place of intimacy where you enter (in spirit) into God’s throne room. There is where you dwell in His presence. Thanksgiving and praise are the keys.

First, we enter into the gates of heaven by giving thanks to Him for all His goodness. Once there, we then enter into His courts by praising His attributes and holiness. We are entering the court of the King; not everyone is allowed in a King’s court. Entry must be properly gained and granted.

Based on the “entering in” of verse 4, I follow it when I have set aside a time of prayer to commune with Him. I begin with thanksgiving. I thank Him for His grace and for His never-ending mercy. I thank Him for His creation and for His plan of redemption, and many other things.

Then I praise Him. I praise Him for He is holiness, goodness, righteousness, and all His various attributes. I uplift and magnify His name. This thanksgiving and praise probably go on for ten to twenty minutes. Then I pause for a while and quietly “listen” for His Spirit. I may not hear anything I can audibly detect or have a specific understanding of, but I know He is “downloading” into my spirit.

Afterwards, I will pray for other people or specific needs. These petitions only are put forth before Him in His heavenly throne room. I would suppose most professing Christians fail to ever spend this quality time with Him. However, the benefit of it is an increase of power in the Holy Spirit such that when a specific need arises at a specific time, I can call on Him in prayer and get an almost immediate answer.

Read Psalm 100 over and over until it takes root. Then learn to do what it says in verse 2, “come before His presence” to live and walk as a Psalm 91 Christian.

HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHTEOUS WAY

The book of James is attributed to Jesus’ brother. He was the pastor at Jerusalem. He gives us some good advice in his writing.  

Chapter One gives us insight into patience, being double-minded, and temptation. We also learn that all good gifts come from Father God. (James 1:17.)

Then, in verse 19 we learn how to avoid an unrighteous walk. James 1:19 says, “Wherefore, my beloved brethren (believers in Christ), let every man (mankind including women and children that know the Lord) be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath.”

Verse 20 tells us that “the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.” This lets us know that when we “lose control” with our mouth we are walking in unrighteousness.

Many arguments, wars, disputes, murders, and more could have been avoided if the person involved had been swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath. So often, people do not listen to the one that is talking to them. They just want to put their “two cents” into a conversation. This often leads to disputes that can end up violent.

A word to the wise is this: “Never make long term decisions in short term wrath.” There are many regrets when decisions are made in anger. James 3:5 says, “…the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!” Then verse 8 says, “But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.”

The only way to avoid spewing fire and poison is to be “slow to speak.” Do not destroy lives and relationships with your words. Think about what you are saying before you speak. You will always be glad you did because you chose the righteous way.

PROPHETIC WORD

AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS

For I have called you in this season to be a watchman. Yes, you. You are well equipped by my Holy Spirit to watch, warn, and pray for what is coming. I am about to do a shaking that will bring even the strongest of the strong to their knees. They shall see the power of my glory upon them. Many will be overwhelmed, but you must warn them that this is the hour to not faint, but to rise up and be the watchman that God has called them to be. The shaking will intensify in both the spiritual and physical realm. For those that have surrendered their lives to me, there will be a great manifestation of my glory. Oh, my children, this is your hour to rise up, to be clothed in my glory and do great exploits. This is not the season to question me. It is the season to be obedient in even the smallest of things. I am shaking, and the shaking will reveal what my children are made of. Many will find themselves as wood, hay, and stubble, as they go through the fiery shakings. Others will be as precious jewels that the fire will not affect. You shall see the separation of those that are strong from those that are weak. Declare, declare, saith the Lord, declare to those that have been lukewarm that this is the hour to go all the way with me, and not be lukewarm. For the lukewarm shall not be able to go through the shakings without seeing many things in their lives crumble. For I would say in this hour that all false idols will be exposed, and they will either be destroyed through repentance, or they will bring those that will not yield to repentance destruction in their very lives. This is your finest hour, oh watchman. Do not let fear hold you back. The enemy would try to convince you that you are finished, but I would say, that my strength is being perfected in you. You are more than able to do what I am calling you to do because the anointing destroys every yoke of bondage that the enemy would throw at you. Do not try to do what I have called you to do in your own strength, for you too would falter, but if you rely on me for every breath you take, I will use you in this hour. You shall see kingdoms that have come against my children fall. They cannot stand when my glory comes down, for in this hour there will be a fierce battle, but as you lean upon me, you shall be victorious. Do not back down to any threats of the enemy for he is a toothless lion. The lion of Judah will roar through you, and he must flee. Now, resolve to stand, and resolve to go, and resolve to be what I have made you to be saith the Lord.

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

Just don’t ever allow this season of hurt and loss to define who you are in life today; Or who you may be in any of your tomorrows. However, you do need to let it carefully refine you and realign you; But just never ever allow it to confine you. Now you know in your heart that you can trust God; So just do it and He will bring you through it. The best part is that you’re well on the way to your big comeback celebration. Oh yes, and this all will be happening despite those ole disheartening setbacks that you’ve already had. So just don’t forget that God did not bring you this far to leave you; And He is saying this to you today…"Indeed, it won’t be long now. Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once and everywhere you look will be blessings! Yes, blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and off the hills. I will make everything right again.” (Amos 9:13b Message bible) Now have yourself a blessed day and know that God has everything under control and…He has you too. So just trust Him through it all.

A Cleansing Fire! HCC

Our God is a cleansing fire to all that seek

His love. The fire, our Saving grace,

He follows from above. Gods’ strength,

Gods’ direction, give your ears to him.

Listen to his voice, feel the fire of his love,

The fire of his heart for you. Let Christ set a

Fire deep within. Let it burn and glow as others

See you. Let your light shine for the World to see,

Or maybe someone just next door, or someone

Down the street. Grab the hands of the homeless

And tell them of God’s love. Say a prayer for our

World that needs a cleansing fire!
