GOD SPECIALIZES IN FAILURES

Have you ever failed God? Have you sinned and feel that God will have nothing more to do with you? Have you rejected reconciliation because you are too proud to admit you sinned and need forgiveness?

Well, do not lose hope. God specializes in failures. There isn’t a person alive or dead that has not failed God in some way.

Moses, a prince of Egypt, knew he had a call on his life as a young man. He did not wait on God for that call to come. He did things his own way and committed murder. He ran from his accusers and for over forty years lived the life of a shepherd far from his family. Then one day God spoke, and everything changed. He became the leader that brought Israel back to their “promised land.”

David committed adultery and murder. In 2 Samuel 12 three things happened.

First, Nathan the prophet confronts him with his sin. [verses 1- 14] In verse 13 David said, “… ‘I have sinned against the LORD…” Yes, he failed, but he repented.

Secondly, the child born out of the adultery died.

Thirdly, after the child died, David’s servants feared he would be beside himself over the death. Yet, despite the death of the child he said to his servants, “…While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether GOD will be gracious to me, that the child may live? But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.”

David’s faith in God was greater than his failure and the death of his child. After the child died, David comforted Bathsheba and they were given another chance, another son, who would become the wisest king, named Solomon also called Jedidiah which means beloved of the Lord.

We can take our mistakes [sin] and let them be heavy rocks that drown us, or take our mistakes [sin] and use them as steppingstones back to God. Yes, we fail, but God is greater than our failures. He specializes in failures. That is why he sent Jesus to save those that have failed!

PROPHETIC WORD

AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS

Do not be surprised as things change rapidly. For what you thought was secure will not be secure any longer. I am bringing such a shaking that even the roots of many things shall be pulled out. For I am a Holy God, and I desire holiness within my children. Many have been riding the fence with one foot on the world’s side and the other on the kingdom of God’s side. You must make a choice my children to not dangle with the world. Yes, you go into the world to bring them out of darkness, but you do not stay in the world. You must shake those things loose that are displeasing to me and allow me to bring you into total submission of my will. For the days ahead will be so filled with darkness that you must not allow any of that darkness to be in you. Your enemy will certainly use any tactic against you, and has been coming before my throne already, desiring to sift you as he desired to sift Peter. Oh, my child, let go of those things of hidden darkness and turn to me with your whole heart. As I said, the shaking will be more intense than ever. Those that submit to this shaking will come forth in such a way that they will reflect my light and glory. Those that do not will be severely tested, and some may lose their life because they could not let go of the things of the world. For in this hour, I am bringing about a great separation. You cannot say that it is the enemy doing this, for it is your God that is doing the shaking. Spend time in the secret place and know that in that place lies the answer to every question that you have. Let go of all bitterness and anger my child, for it does not reflect the light. It reflects darkness. Be the one that lives a lifestyle of repentance for those truly are my children. Let things go and do not harbor any resentment or unforgiveness. I long for you to be free of these things my child, but you must be willing to go through the fiery trials that will bring your freedom to pass. Now, do not think that the shaking is because of any hatred toward you, for I love you with an everlasting love that will never fail. Be prepared and know that I will be with you as you go through this shaking saith the Lord.

Friday Scripture For Today

We have been talking about peace and here in the New Testament it once again talks of JESUS being our peace.

God loves you soo much that when He wants to make sure that we “get it”. He repeats it over and over. And what do we suppose He wants us to get?

Just know that in this ole world we live in full of disappointments, troubles and heartaches; Our greatest hope down here below will always be in KNOWING that…We can count on finding help from our loving Heavenly Father up ABOVE. It’d be good to keep in mind these comforting words from the Prophet Jeremiah we find in Jeremiah 20: 11…”The Lord is with me as a mighty warrior; So that all my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. But will fail and be throughly disgraced and forgotten". Now as you start out into this another brand new day just remember this; You’re too blessed to be stressed for you are indeed loved and protected by the Mighty Warrior Himself…Our faithful Father God.

Some people will dig up "your dirt" to not build but to tear down, hoping you sink. God is familiar with "your dirt" and chooses to build something new on where it used to be. Give all "your dirt" to Jesus and watch what He does. He is all about building and rebuilding, not tearing down. He can even use your previous "dirt" to help somebody still stuck in their "dirt", even if it's actually "quick sand". They may be going down for the last time, but you can tell them how Jesus rescued you!
