NO REAR-VIEW MIRRORS ALLOWED

Some of us spend our entire lives looking into a rearview mirror. We are always wanting to go back to the “might have been’s,” or live in the “I wish I hads.” By doing this we fail to see what God has right in front of us.

It is for certain that if we look into the rear-view mirrors without looking ahead, we will certainly crash. We cannot go back and live our lives over. We can learn from the past, but we must let go of it to press on to the next place that Christ has for us. How sad to stand before God one day, and have Him show us what we missed because we did not “let go” of the past.

My friends, God has something bigger and better for us than we can imagine. Yes, there are those people and ties to the past that pull us back. Perhaps it was a relationship with someone that was not a Christian and you just cannot let go.

You will never, I say never become what God wants for you if you do not let go. Perhaps it is a loved one that died, and your heart is grieving and broken because you miss them so much. Do not let this control your future.

God has a new beginning each and every day. Letting go is a choice! We have to choose to forget those things that are behind us and move on into God’s destiny for us.

You cannot make bread from yesterday’s yeast that never rose. Don’t live your life in a rear-view mirror.

PROPHETIC WORD

AS GIVEN TO HELEN SANDERS

Why are you skeptical my child, wondering if I will use you for my glory? Would you think it would be better to use a rock or a mule that cannot speak? Would you rather I used someone with an eloquent voice and rich apparel? I would have you know that none of these things are counted worthy when I call someone. It is not about the outward appearance, my child. It is your inner willingness to be used by me. It is your love of me that grows within and reflects without. Now do not think for a minute that your natural gifts are not needed, but they are not what I will use. It is my words in your mouth and my love in your heart that will destroy yokes and remove burdens.

For I look at the inner man while others would look at the outward appearance, the education, the natural abilities, but that is not what I look at. I know your heart, and I know what you think before you speak. I can trust a yielded vessel far more than one that is puffed up in pride walking in their own natural abilities.

For my child, you have taken the time to sit at my feet and learn who I AM. I have given you more ability through those moments than you can ever know. So, do not question whether you can be used by me. I do not look for those with natural ability. I look for those that are willing to hear and obey. Now, rise up and go forth in my power and my strength and you shall see mighty things happen. Do not lean unto your own understanding and mental attributes for I will not work through that part of you. I will work through your spirit that has tuned in to hear my voice which is that still small voice that speaks to you and you say to me “Yes, Lord, I am willing.”

Now listen for my instructions and be ready to be used for the hours ahead will bring darkness to many lives. You will be filled with my light, and you will bring many out of darkness as you let me shine through you. Do not hesitate to speak when I tell you to. Do not hesitate to go where I tell you to go, for I have chosen you for such a time as this saith the Lord.

Friday Thought For Today

The parable of the farmer scattering seeds is in Mark 4:1-9. But I want to focus on Jesus explanation of that parable.

“The farmer plants seed by taking God’s word to others. The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message, only to have satan come at once and take it away. The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy. But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word. The seed that fell among the thorns represents others who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced. And the seed that fell on good soil represents those who hear and accept God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!””

The explanation is from Jesus. Take heed to His teaching. I believe we are getting closer to a time when the Word will not be allowed to be taught or spoken. I know I am always telling you to read your Bible. Now is the time to get the Word of God into your heart!
