WOMAN’S GOD-GIVEN VALUE – LESSON 1

ADAM – ISH – AND ISHA

Who is man? Who is woman? Do we truly understand? Let us answer these questions by going to the very beginning, Genesis Chapters 2 and 3 where God created us.

There are three creation words we need to understand: ‘adam, ish, and isha.

First however, we consider God’s name. Chapter one uses only Elohim. The “im” suffix is plural in meaning as the entire trinity worked together in creation of Earth and its living entities. (Genesis 1:1 – 2:3).

Starting with Genesis 2:4, the name changes to Jehovah Elohim (YHWH Elohim) making the name Jehovah (Yahweh) a special unique meaning to the human race He was creating. It is the redemptive name to His covenant people. It becomes personal to us in revealing Father, Son, and Spirit.

Genesis 2:5 speaks of all the plants and herbs of the field, but there was “not a man to till the ground.” The English word for “man” here is the Hebrew word ‘adam. This was the word for a human being, the beginning of a race of living physical beings created as body, soul, and spirit after the likeness of Elohim (Genesis 1:26).

Genesis 1:27 says God (Elohim) created ‘adam (mankind) as male and female. So ‘adam was not a designation for a male only, neither was it the personal given name for the first man God created from dust.

The first man was later called by the personal name “Adam” by human choice. The name ‘adam applies to the entire human race born on earth. All of ‘adam is born into sin. Jesus (Messiah) is the “second ‘adam” who came from above (heaven) as the sinless ‘adam that came to redeem the sinful race of ‘adam.

So, if Adam (‘adam) is the name of all humans, male or female, how do we distinguish individual human beings and how do we distinguish male from female? More later on that!

Further proof that “Adam” (‘adam) included both sexes can be seen in Genesis 2:7. “And Jehovah Elohim took the ‘adam (from wherever he had been created) and put into the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it.” English translation says God “put him into the garden” but the original Hebrew does not say “him.” That was added by translators.

Tomorrow we shall discuss the “help” that was created from a rib bone. We shall learn of ish and isha, male and female of the race of ‘adam.

THE REST OF GOD

The scriptures talk about God resting on the 7^th day after he had completed his work. The word “rested” in Hebrew is Shabath or Sabbath. It means to desist from exertion, cease, to be still. God set aside one day for his children to rest, and in the Old Testament it was called the Sabbath. No one did any manual labor on this day. It was from sundown on Friday night until sundown on Saturday. The orthodox Jews still keep their “sabbath” and cease labors during those hours. Many Christians also celebrate “sabbath” also. There is nothing wrong with this unless it becomes legalistic and demanded of one to do this.

In the New Testament we learn that Jesus is Lord of the sabbath (Matthew 12:8) and was criticized for healing on the sabbath. In Mark 2:27 Jesus said, “the sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.” This indicates that people worshipped the Sabbath instead of the one that gave the Sabbath. In Hebrews chapter 4 Paul explains that Jesus is our rest, or our Sabbath. Therefore we “rest” in Him and his finished works. He gives us the peace, the rest, the quietness to our spirit by imparting it to us through salvation. There is no real rest outside of resting in the Lord and his promises.

Perhaps you are busy trying to do all the right things that would make God love you. Well, He could never love you any more than when He gave Jesus to be sacrificed. When Jesus rose from the dead, religious works for justification were abolished. We now trust that the work that Jesus did on the cross is sufficient for us to rest in. This gives us the assurance that we are in covenant with him.

There is no rest to the wicked. Only those that have surrendered their lives to God receive the “rest of God.” Have you done that? If not, you will never find peace.

PROPHETIC WORD

This is your season. This is your time to rise up and be all that God has called you to be. This is your hour to march into the enemy's camp and take down the Goliath's that have raised up their ugly heads and bring them down. As the Spirit of God was on David, let it come on you and let the anointing destroy the yoke of bondage that is holding others in captivity. This is not the time to walk in fear! This is the time to put on God's armor and go forth. Know this - that if David had depended upon the armor of man he would have surely failed, but the armor of God is designed with only you in mind. It fits you like a glove, and it will see you through the battle. The sling is the word of God, and you must sling it at enemy and at the enemy's words, actions, and deeds to take him down. Do not cower in his presence for I am with you saith the Lord, and I will surely see this battle be won as you go forth in my power, my might, and my anointing. For I am with you and in you as you go forth and together, we shall see things change. So, rise up and go forth, being led of my Spirit into this battle, for I am looking for those that have my heart and will take back what Satan has stolen. There’s one thing you must always remember and that is...There’ll never be anyone whether small or large minded person who could stop your purpose. That’s something that’s only between YOU and your God. Just remember there’s no Sanballat or Tobiah that will be able to prohibit you from carrying out Gods plan and purpose for your life...Just ask Nehemiah. (Nehemiah 4) IF God called you TO it; Then He will give you all you need to get THROUGH it. Just know there will never be a wall too big for you to climb; And to stay on it...Until your job is done. Yes, if God called you to do it; Then you stay on that wall...And get it done.

IMPORTANT PROPHETIC ALERT

The Lord has been revealing many things to His people in this hour, out of His grace and mercy. May we heed what He is showing us. I am grateful!

Remember - God's people should not get into fear when He sends warning dreams or visions out of His mercy. He has promised never to leave us nor forsake us!

We need to pray, prepare as much as possible, and trust our God no matter what may come. I have been warning of many of these things for several years now, so that His people will not get into fear, but be able to stand in faith in difficult times.

Over the last few weeks, quite a number of watchmen and intercessors that are connected to our ministry have shared dreams and/or visions they have had about a coming darkness, as well as some type of food shortage (mostly in America, but also in other nations some). I have also sensed that these things are coming as well, which I have shared some here since summer, but mostly in our prophetic group.

Myself and our admin team qualify what is approved on our closed Prophetic Forum group, to assure people are not being influenced by other things they've seen or heard, but truly what is coming from the Lord. I do believe all of these are warnings being given by Him, and it has also confirmed what I have sensed myself. I know and trust most all of those who have shared, and I know them not to be fanciful or impressionable by others. These are people of prayer, intercession, integrity and proper motive. They truly only share for prayer and many times, they "weren't going to share" until they saw so many others sharing about similar things they've seen/heard.

IS THIS DOOM & GLOOM??

I know many within the prophetic movement have taught, and believed, that the Lord only gives us happy, encouraging, or edifying words or prophetic things. Yet, if we read it scripture, that is not the case. Many times, we see Him warning His people of upcoming famine, war, attack, etc, as a way to help them and encourage them to not give up or be discouraged during that time. In that sense, it is very encouraging. It is His way of letting His people know that He is aware of all things, and He is with them even in the trials and difficult times.

If this last 2 years have taught us anything, I hope it has taught us, that it is better if we do know about the difficult events that are coming, as well as telling us the encouraging words. It does make it easier for us to prepare ourselves, both spiritually and in the natural, if we know in advance.

With that being said, I would like to encourage all to be as prepared as possible for these types of events to occur. We do not have a clear read on just how long these events may last, but we are trying to be as prepared as possible, all while believing it will not be an extended time. We are also not completely clear yet, when these things may happen, but with this increase of many dreams and visions lately, we believe it will be sooner rather than later.

Oh...and have I mentioned there is great Glory and awakening happening as well?!

I'll share more of that soon as well!

Here is a reminder from the "Best of Times, Worst of Times" word released in July 2018...

"Throughout all of the centuries, and we see in the Old and New Testament, God has continuously warned His people of what was coming. It is a part of His mercy and love…so His people can be prepared, and also to warn the world so they can repent and turn. We see examples of this when Joseph was warned there would be 7 years of plenty, then 7 years of famine. He, and those around Him, heeded the warning of the Lord, and because they did, they were all saved, including Joseph’s entire family. (Gen. 41)

Then we see in Acts 11:28, that a Prophet gives a word of warning by the Spirit that a famine was coming to all the world. Because they heeded the warning, and were prepared, we see that they were able to survive, and even have enough to share with other believers.

The Lord speaks and warns through His prophets, and if we will listen and heed the warning, we will be prepared. Amo 3:7 says, 'Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plans (secrets) to His servants the prophets.'

1Chron.12:32 tells us …'The sons of Issachar…had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do…'"
