OMG Everyone! 5 YEARS- 5 BIG CHANGES!

THINGS ARE REALLY CHANGING FOR THE 5TH ANNUAL ARISE PUPIL OF THE EYE CONFERENCE!



1. For the first time, ARISE will be both in-person and virtual, AND the virtual conference is open to everyone!
2. For the first time, we will have pre-conference immersion excursions as part of the in-person conference to help history come alive so that we can remember our our ancestor's nobility, sacrifice, and resilience! We'll visit the African American History Museum, Blacks in Wax, Reginald F. Lewis museums, and more.
3. For the first time, we will have a Gala at the in-person conference, a chance to dress up, dance, hear powerful presentations and just have fun!
4. For the first time, BIPOC people will also be invited to the in-person conference, to learn and fellowship with us! I define BIPOC as (Racialized as Black, Indigenous or brown or otherwise treated as a minority, oppressed, or marginalized person because you are not considered white even if you ethnically ambiguous)
5. For the first time, we will have a very robust children's, jr. youth, and youth/young adult programs at the in-person conference. Geri Peak is making sure that our young folks get just as rich an experience as the adults! So much is planned and I will share later. Remember this is for whole families! The lucky youth and young adults ages 15-30 will get a whole day with Calvin Terrell teaching on "Spiritual Warriorship."
