TLDR: Sign up for a FREE MUSIC THERAPY ASSESSMENT at FRIENDS by clicking this link
Is your loved one drawn to and motivated by music? Empower You Therapy Services is offering free music therapy assessments with a Board-Certified Music Therapist. Our music therapists assist teens and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by providing open-minded, client-centered, holistic, authentic, and empowering therapy. Music therapy uses evidence-based practice to increase an individual’s emotional, physical, cognitive, communicative, or social abilities. Music is powerful, and when used within the therapeutic setting, by a trained professional, it can unlock an abundance of potential. A trauma-informed, holistic, and neurologic approach is used to partner with clients in meeting their goals.
With consent, a music therapy assessment will be provided at FRIENDS. Empower You will then send you a report, discuss the findings, and make recommendations for future sessions. We serve Boulder and surrounding areas (Denver, Longmont, Erie, etc.) and will drive to your home or provide music therapy sessions within their day at FRIENDS, if all parties agree this is a good fit.
Please note that the music therapy assessment is typically a one-time one-hour session to evaluate potential goals and objectives that can be addressed within continued music therapy sessions. The music therapist will discuss options for continuing services if it is recommended.
In order to receive your free music therapy assessment, please click here, to fill out a consent form. The consent form is required in order to complete the free assessment at FRIENDS.
