Now Available:

Family Member Account Management

If you have set up your FRONTSTEPS account, you now have the ability to designate account management to other family members.


Two options are available for family members:


1). Available now: Assigning family member account management control is available now. Property owners who already have their accounts set up can designate other family members to also control visitor management for the property. This option allows designated family members to add and delete guests from your guest list.


2). Coming soon: Family members can be added to your permanent guest list when the visitor management tool is available. This option allows them to come and go to your property at any time but not control the guest list for the property.


FAMILY MEMBER ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT: HOW IT WORKS



As a FRONTSTEPS account owner, you can designate account management to up to five other family members who are not property owners on record with Eagle County.

Examples of family members you might want to designate as account managers include adult children or other adult relatives.

Granting FRONTSTEPS account management to other family members will allow them to issue visitor passes to their guests through their FRONTSTEPS accounts.

The family members that you designate now will now also have full management of your home's guest list when that option becomes available.

Please note: Family member account management is NOT available for long-term guests or regular visitors to your home. You will be able to manage those visitors through the visitor management tool when it becomes available.

Property owners will have the option of designating property managers with additional account controls at a later date.

How to Designate a Family Member as a FRONTSTEPS Account Manager

Using the same email that is on your FRONTSTEPS account, email the Cordillera Metro District at info@cordillerametro.org. Include these details:


  1. The NAME of the person you would like to add as a family member account manager (adult family members or adult relatives only)
  2. That person's EMAIL
  3. That person's MOBILE PHONE NUMBER


The person you designate will receive a personalized account set-up invitation and instructions in an email with the subject line Cordillera FRONTSTEPS account set-up request.


Only those who have set up their FRONTSTEPS accounts are able to add family members as account managers at this time.

Visitor Management: Coming Soon

Beginning in mid-July, all property owners who have set up their FRONTSTEPS account will be able to issue personalized guest passes for visitors to their homes.


Be on the lookout for communications when this feature is available.


Beginning in August, all property owners must use FRONTSTEPS to issue guest passes for visitors to their homes.

How to Set Up Your FRONTSTEPS Account

For those who have not yet set up accounts: All Cordillera property owners on record with Eagle County have received multiple personalized account set-up requests. Check your email inbox for the most RECENT message with the subject line Cordillera FRONTSTEPS account set-up request. Follow the instructions included in the email to set up your account.


Once personalized account invitations are sent, they expire after 48 hours. 


If other property owners on record with Eagle County for your property did not receive an account invitation, please email the CMD Admin Office at info@cordillerametro.org or call (970) 926-1923. We are available for support if you need help getting your account set up.

Ongoing FRONTSTEPS Support

Cordillera Metro District (CMD) will continue to provide onboarding assistance throughout the FRONTSTEPS rollout process to assist and offer training to those who need help managing visitor gate access passes when that option becomes available.
