As artificial intelligence transforms manufacturing, it also raises important legal considerations around IP protection and product liability. This talk will explore the potential applications of AI and machine learning, best practices for navigating the associated legal risks, and leveraging IP to safeguard AI-driven innovations.

W. Keith Robinson is a Professor of Law and Faculty Director for Intellectual Property, Technology, Business, and Innovation at the Wake Forest University School of Law. Professor Robinson is a nationally-recognized patent scholar. He researches how legal institutions govern emerging technology. He has commented on issues of intellectual property law in media outlets and given more than seventy presentations around the world on patent law.

Optional Reception at Wynkoop Brewing Company


Please join us on the evening of Tuesday, October 22nd for an optional reception at Wynkoop Brewing Company, which is located about 1 mile (an approximately 20-minute walk) from The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa.

Wynkoop is Colorado’s first brewpub, and since 1988, they have been brewing handcrafted beer in their modest basement brewery underneath Denver’s largest pool hall. 


This optional event, featuring a private craft tour, an open bar, and a casual buffet, is included with the registration fee. Please indicate if you will attend the reception when registering so we can plan accordingly.

The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa, part of Marriott's Autograph Collection, has been synonymous with extraordinary service since its opening in 1892. It features six distinct restaurants and bars, an onsite spa and fitness center, and afternoon tea. 


Our discounted group room rate is $249 plus state and local taxes per night. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is included.

REGISTRATION FEES

The registration fee for the first two attendees from a company is $950 per person.


The fee for any additional attendees from that same company is $700 per person.


Spouses and Companions may register for $350 per person.


Invited Prospective Members may register for $350 per person.


Refunds will be granted through October 11, 2024.

The registration fee will be refunded, minus a $60 processing fee per registration.

Proper Attire

For all meetings, the attire is business casual. The receptions and dinners are informal.


Meeting Attendance

Meetings and events are open to all attendees unless specified otherwise on the meeting schedule. Division meetings are open to all attendees if your company is a member of the division. If your company is not a member of the division, you must obtain permission from the division chair to attend the meeting. 


Weather

The daytime temperature in Denver is expected to be around 68°F (20°C). Evening temperatures are expected to drop to around 37°F (3°C).


Transportation & Parking

Airport - The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa is located 22 miles (an approximately 40-minute drive) from the Denver International Airport (DEN). The hotel does not offer a shuttle.


Hotel Parking - Valet parking at the hotel is available for $59 per night plus tax for overnight guests. No self-parking options are available.


Taxi/Uber/Lyft - The cost for one-way transportation between the airport and the hotel via taxi, Uber or Lyft is approximately $70 to $80.
