PBJ Groups Begin for Spring Semester
Our PBJ Groups begin this Sunday, February 11, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. The meeting dates are all on the following Sundays: February 11, 25; March 11, 25; and April 8. Please prayerfully consider engaging in these in-home gatherings. I think you will be blessed by your participation. The purpose of a PBJ fellowship group is to foster a home-based environment for shepherding, discipleship, relationship building, and prayer which will enhance the body life, spiritual growth, and maturity of FSBC. Please invite a friend to join the group you attend this semester.

Student Dessert Auction
Thank you for your gracious and generous participation and support of the Student Ministry Dessert Auction. Annually, you rise to the occasion with your exceptional generosity. Thank you! The Student Dessert Auction is a great day for the church--delicious food, warm fellowship, fun, generosity, and excellent desserts. Thanks to so many folks who made the event memorable.

Your Response to the Sermon Series on Job
Your response to the sermon series on Job has been a great encouragement to me. God is using this series to touch people in unique ways. Job's story is riveting, perplexing, heartbreaking, and insightful. More is to come as we continue to wade deeper into this book. My consistent prayer and hope is that this series will serve to increase our awe of God-His greatness, His sovereignty, His wisdom, His love, His faithfulness, His goodness, and His glory. Below is a listing of upcoming sermons:
February 11--"The Problem of Evil & Suffering"
February 18-- "Cursing the Day of Your Birth"
February 25--"You Must Have Done Something Wrong"
March 4--"Craving the Crushing of God"

                                                                                                  See you Sunday!

LOOKING FOR A PLACE TO SERVE?

If you have ever sung in the choir or thought about singing in the choir come and join us. We meet at 7:00 p.m. in the choir room for a time of fellowship and preparation for leading in worship each week. Now is a great time to get plugged in as we begin working on some great new music and as we look toward Easter. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a place to serve at Field Street. There is absolutely no experience needed, only an open heart and mind ready to worship the Lord.

We are in need of volunteers to help run our lyric projection and lighting systems during our 11:00 a.m. worship service. All training will be provided. If you are looking for a place to get plugged in during this new year, we would love to have you help serve in the technical side of our morning worship services.
  God Bless,
