D ominican Republic Mission Trip
Early Friday morning, June 7, ten folks from our church will depart for the Dominican Republic. While in the DR, our team will be doing minor construction for an orphanage, working with a mobile medical clinic, shopping for and delivering groceries to various homes, conducting a VBS, conducting teen sports, conducting ESL classes, engaging in evangelism, and worshiping with the IBQ church! I will be privileged to preach at this wonderful church Sunday morning, Sunday night, Wednesday night, and will teach in their Pastor's Institute on Sunday afternoon. We would very much appreciate your faithfulness in prayer for spiritual fruitfulness, safe and smooth travel, good health, and the grace of God to be an encouragement to those with whom we come in contact. I am go grateful to be a part of a missions-minded congregation like Field Street. Also, remember to pray for mission trips planned this summer to both Poland and New Orleans. Thank you!

Vacation Bible School
VBS is just a few weeks away! Our week of VBS kicks off Sunday, night June 16 at 6:00 p.m. We are praying for a great week of teaching boys and girls truths from the Word of God. Thank you for your faithful, selfless support of Vacation Bible School! Please help us spread the word about Field Street's VBS! Again, thank you.

Upco ming Sermons in Revelation As I stated in last month's eFocus, God has proven Himself true to His Word-reading, hearing, and acting on the book of Revelation continues to be a blessing to the church. I praise God and thank Him for the high level of interest in this verse-by-verse exposition of this apocalyptic book. Please continue to pray for God's grace to us as we make our way through this fascinating, Christ-exalting book. Below are the upcoming sermons:

June 2- "The Infinite Worthiness of the Lamb"- 5:1-14
June 9- John Glover, Associate Pastor
June 16- "The Great Tribulation"- Matthew 24
June 23- "The Four Horsemen"- 6:1-8
June 30- "Sovereign Lord-How Long?"- 6:9-17

When in Town, Please Be Present
Summertime generally allows for families to take some time away and go on a vacation. That's a good thing. We enjoy family vacations as well. Let me encourage you to get away at some point this summer, but when you are in town on the Lord's Day, please join the church family for worship and Bible study. We NEED and WANT you here. You need to be in the Lord's house with the Lord's people on the Lord's Day! I am confident that our times together this summer will be meaningful, enriching, and Spirit-filled. FSBC has much going on during these summer weeks, so don't miss out if at all possible.

   See You Sunday,

Senior Adult Ministry

Well, here we are! Summer - 2019
June is going to be a very busy month with camps, mission trips and Vacation Bible School. It offic ially "kicks off" our summer schedule.
One of our ministries that is not directly affected by "seasons" is Homebound. At the present time, we have 27 visitors who minister to s ev en assisted living and skilled nursing facilities and seven individual homes. There are 40 people who are being ministered to every month by our Homebound Staff. This is a long-time ministry in our church and I'm so appreciativ e of the work the y do. So many of these people w ere once very active in our church and because of failing health can no longer att end, so we take the church to them. Pray for this ministry!

Cleburne Parkinson Meetings

The Cleburne Parkinson meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month here at Field Street in the church parlor at 10:00 a.m.  There is no charge to attend these meetings and ANYONE is welcome to attend.  Many of the topics presented each month are beneficial for any one--not just limited to persons with Parkinson's disease. This is a great support opportunity also for caregivers of family members with a Parkinson's diagnosis.
