January is Mental Wellness Month

January is Mental Wellness Month; an opportunity to move on from the busy, possibly even stressful, schedule of holiday celebrations and create a plan to focus on our personal well-being. January is the perfect time to focus inward, manage post-holiday stress, and embrace the changes that come with the new year, so we can set a new course feeling calm and ready for the year ahead. Upcoming and Ongoing Programs

For parents of children Pre-K through grade 12 (open to all schools/school districts)

Join your peers in conversation about the universal challenges we face as parents. FSG clinicians will facilitate discussions relevant to your child’s age and development.

The session will be an open discussion without a set topic. We encourage you to bring your ideas on any concerns you'd like to address. Simply fill out a topic card and drop it in our topic basket, and the FSG clinician will kick off the conversation!

Some ideas for discussion:

Are my kids overscheduled?

How can I help them cope with worries?

What steps can I take to foster my child’s independence?

What’s my role in helping them with social concerns?

How much screen time is too much?

Is my child being bullied, or is it social conflict,

and how do I manage this with them?

There's still time to make an impact!

Thank you to all our friends and neighbors who answered our call to action and helped support affordable and accessible mental health and social services for everyone in our community.

Your support enables us to continue offering affordable, accessible mental health care right here in our community. Your gift will directly fund services for people who need help but face financial barriers - ensuring that no one is turned away due to cost.

For those who haven't yet given - our doors are always open to your generosity! Last year alone, donations from friends just like you allowed us to cover $183,000 in counseling services for those with financial need. Can you help this year?

Thank you for your commitment to FSG and for being a vital part of our work.
