A Thanksgiving Message to Our Community | | |
This Thanksgiving, Family Service of Glencoe is filled with deep gratitude for you, our neighbors, donors, partners, and friends. Your support over the past year has strengthened our ability to carry out our mission.
Because of your generosity and belief in our work, we were able to expand our reach, serve more individuals and families, and respond to a growing need for mental health support in our community. Your commitment made it possible for us to move into a larger clinical office, creating more space for healing, connection, and compassionate care. This new home allows us to welcome more clients, offer more services, and ensure that no one in Glencoe and the surrounding communities has to navigate life’s challenges alone. We look forward to showing you the new Kiki Farley Counseling Center this spring when we will invite the community to a ribbon cutting and open house. More information will be coming to you after the new year. If you would like updates on the new space you may click here.
As we reflect on this year of growth, we are reminded that none of it happens without you. Thank you for showing up, giving generously, sharing our mission, and believing in the power of community care.
From all of us at Family Service of Glencoe, we wish you a warm, restorative, and connected Thanksgiving season.
We are truly grateful for you.

FSG Receives Grant from the Highland Park Community Foundation
We’re honored to share that Family Service of Glencoe has received a grant from the Highland Park Community Foundation!
On October 29th, FSG Board President Samantha Aronow and Vice President Ryne Tennant (pictured) along with Kelly Clark, Manager of Development and Communications attended HPCF's Annual Grants Distribution Celebration at The Art Center of Highland Park.
We had the opportunity to connect with many other organizations doing great work, and we’re proud to be among such an inspiring group of grantees, each making a meaningful difference in our shared community.
Our heartfelt thanks to the Highland Park Community Foundation for their continued support of our work in the Highland Park and Highwood communities and across the North Shore. Together, we’re helping individuals and families access the care and resources they need to thrive.

FSG and D35's Reach out and Read Fall Season Wrap-Up
FSG in partnership with Glencoe School District 35's Reach Out and Read (ROAR) program wrapped up a wonderful fall season, once again bringing together students and older adult volunteers for meaningful, intergenerational connection.
Reach Out and Read fosters reading confidence, builds positive literacy habits, and creates space for students to share stories with their reading buddies.
Each week, children selected a book they were excited about and read aloud—sparking conversation, encouragement, and plenty of smiles.
We are deeply grateful to our dedicated volunteers whose time and warmth make this program possible. Their presence enriches the students’ lives and their own in ways that last well beyond a single season.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back for an engaging and joyful spring session.

Invest in Our Community This Giving Tuesday
Your support makes a real difference in Glencoe. Thanks to our generous donors, FSG has expanded services, supported more families and individuals, and provided critical mental health care to those who might otherwise go without. Last year, your contributions helped cover $245,000 in counseling for community members with financial need.
This Giving Tuesday, is Tuesday, December 2nd and we invite you to continue investing in the well-being of our neighbors. Every gift helps ensure that no one struggles alone and that everyone has access to the care they deserve.
Join us in making a lasting impact. Give today, and help FSG bring hope, healing, and connection to our community.
