Online Course Focuses on CGMPs for Animal Food:
WHAT does the course cover?
  • This course focuses specifically on the Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) provisions within the FSMA regulation “Current Good Manufacturing Practice, Hazard Analysis, and Risk-Based Preventive Controls for Food for Animals” commonly referred to as the Preventive Controls for Animal Food (PCAF) regulation.
  • This course helps animal food manufacturers understand how to comply with the CGMPs required under the PCAF regulation.

WHO benefits from attending this course?
  • Facilities that must comply with PCAF regulation.
  • Individuals who need to understand and execute the CGMPs in an animal food manufacturing environment.
  • Individuals who want to refresh their understanding of the PCAF CGMPs.

HOW is this course different from the entire PCAF course, which includes a chapter on CGMPs?
  • Because this 2.5 to 3.5-hour online course focuses exclusively on animal food CGMPs, more time can be dedicated to CGMPs examples and scenarios than what is provided in the complete FSPCA Preventive Controls for Animal Food Course.
