FSZ Expands Programming with Parkinson’s PWR!Moves Classes

The FSZ continues to expand its services for seniors by offering programs that support health, mobility, and overall well-being.

Through a grant from the Michigan Parkinson’s Foundation, the FSZ was able to host free PWR!Moves classes designed specifically for individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.

The program was very well attended, and due to its success, the FSZ was able to extend the opportunity with an additional 16-week session.

The classes are led by FSZ trainer Nathan Levinson, who brings both expertise and enthusiasm to every session.

The FSZ is proud to have Nathan as part of our team. He is a Certified Personal Trainer with additional certifications in SilverSneakers, Tai Chi, and Parkinson’s PWR!Moves. His dedication to helping individuals improve strength, balance, and confidence has made a meaningful impact on participants in the program.

This fall, Nathan will begin the Physical Therapy Program at the University of Michigan.

His knowledge, professionalism, and commitment to putting his clients first make him a tremendous asset to the FSZ community.

If you are interested in working with Nathan, stop by the FSZ to pick up a Personal Training Application and learn more about available training opportunities!

“The five S's of sports training are: stamina, speed, strength, skill, and spirit;

but the greatest of these is spirit.”

– Ken Doherty.

As always, thank you for your continued support of

FSZ’s Youth Sports!

We are proud of our athletes!

Elite level basketball training, strength training, speed and agility, and vertical jump training with the region's best!

Isn't it wonderful to see (and feel) the sun again after the past few months?!

Sunlight triggers the skin to produce Vitamin D, which is crucial for building strong bones, boosting immunity, improving mood, and supporting brain and heart health. Just 5–30 minutes of sun exposure (without sunscreen) on arms and legs a few times a week can optimize vitamin D levels, helping to prevent disease and improve sleep.
