Step 1:
Make sure that you have registered with FIRST Inspires & FIRST Chesapeake. ***All selections made will be verified as paid teams. If your team has not paid both registrations, your selections will be deleted.
Step 2:
During the Qualifier Selection 1 window, choose 1 event to attend.
Use this link (https://www.firstchesapeake.org/ftc/register/qualifier-selection) to select your first qualifier.
IMPORTANT:
The same person who registered your team with Chesapeake will need to log in and then access the link above to select your Qualifier. You will add the event ticket of your choice to a cart and checkout to make the selection as though you are making a purchase for an event.
ALL teams are encouraged to choose an event in November or December.
***If you select multiple events, your team will be placed based on your last selection and all other selections will be void.
Step 3:
Repeat Step 2 for Qualifier Selection #2.
During the Qualifier Selection 2 window, choose 1 event to attend. Use this link to select your second qualifier. ***If you select multiple events, your team will be placed based on your last selection and all other selections will be void.
ALL teams are encouraged to choose an event in January.
Step 4:
Notification emails will be sent by the FTC Director. No selection is final until a confirmation email is received from Shelly Stoddard on October 1.
Step 5:
Have an emergency and need to change, you can use our Trade Submission Form to do that. You must identify a team that can trade with you and both parties must agree to the change. Slack is a great place to connect with others to find someone that might be able to trade. With only 16 events and over 260 projected teams, there will be no 3rd play option at this time. This is subject to change.
