Thank you for your support!
Rule#1: Always reach out if you need support
We're following our own advice and reaching out to YOU!

We are excited to announce Tanner Frost as our new Outreach Director. Tanner has been an FTR member for over 4 years, so he knows the heart and soul of this place. His job is to make people feel safe and feel a part of the Fit to Recover community. If you need any information about classes, memberships, or events, please reach out to Tanner at Tanner@fit2recover.org.

FITNESS
The Park City program is growing!

We are accepting two participants from Summit County Drug Court and certifying them as FTR Ambassadors, where they will learn how to train and mentor people in recovery. After they complete the certification program, they will be taking over the Park City fitness program.

WEDNESDAYS at 5:30PM
The MARC: 1200 Little Kate Rd, Park City
Member Spotlight: Richie Wilson

Richie has been in the recovery community for 10 years. He left for a bit, but we are so happy to have him back and seeing his consistency the past month. We are super thankful for his energy and how he treats the new person. We are grateful that he can be a positive example in his dedication to his recovery.
Richie is also a grateful recipient of one of the Mark Miller Subaru scholarships for an FTR membership.
NUTRITION/Food to Recover
Thank you, Rose!
We are sad to announce that our dietitian Rose will no longer be overseeing the Food to Recover program. She made a huge impact on people in recovery, especially during challenging times related to COVID. She made the best out of the difficult situation and continued to provide nutritious meals to those in need and always promoted the importance of good food during recovery. We love and appreciate you, Rose. Best of luck with your next adventure!

*We won't be having Meal Prep on September 1st, but look for it on September 8th.
There are fun things in store for the Food to Recover program!
CREATIVE EXPRESSION
Deeply Rooted II: Beauty in the Struggle: August 29th

Deeply Rooted is a reoccurring event put together by our Creative Arts Pillar here at Fit to Recover. From writing songs, choreographing dances, and putting up the stage, we did it together, with the guidance and support of Tony and Benjamin.
The show began, like each music group does, through checking in together and then taking the stage, supporting each other and letting our fellows voices be heard. Throughout the show, members of the audience had the opportunity to come up and share their own creativity. It was a really special night of creative expression, vulnerability, courage and sharing passions and spreading hope in Salt Lake’s recovery community.
