From The Pastor

I’m thankful….

I’m thankful for the sound of children.
I’m thankful for my wife’s sweet tea…and her Brunswick stew and, and…
I’m thankful for covered dish meals.
I’m thankful for a good and honored family name.
I’m thankful for three boys who are becoming good men.
I’m thankful to be the pastor of a great church filled with great people.
I’m thankful to live in a city where God is welcomed and openly spoken of.
I’m thankful for the dedicated men and women who work with me.
I’m thankful for the memories of loved family members who have encouraged me.
I’m thankful that I had my dad to teach me what’s really important in ministry…the people – always.
I’m thankful that my eternal life with Christ does not rest on how good I am.
I’m grateful for His love which has saved and forgiven me.

Over these next few days, may I encourage you to just take a few moments, and name aloud, some of the things for which you are most grateful. It will be amazing to just stop and realize how enormously blessed you are.
From my family to yours – Happy Thanksgiving!
Blessings to you

Pastor Bobby
